Political persecution of a human rights activist and former political prisoner Aidar Syzdykov

Aidar SYZDYKOV reports that on 29 September an unknown woman (did not introduce herself) said that Aidar SYZDYKOV has some kind of court hearings tomorrow (30 September).

 

Previously, Kural Sagyndykov a district police officer of the Saryarka district, demanded that Aidar SYZDYKOV pay a fine in a political administrative case for allegedly “violating the law on peaceful assemblies” despite the fact that Aidar SYZDYKOV had already served an illegal and politically motivated sentence of administrative detention for 15 days.

On 29 June 2021, the court imposed on him an administrative arrest not a fine, but Kural SAGYNDYKOV, the district police officer of the Saryarka district, demanded that Aidar SYZDYKOV pay a fine (nonexistent) as well.

The employees of the institution (pre-trial detention facility) EC-166/1 filed a lawsuit against Lyudmyla KOZLOVSKA, President of the Open Dialogue Foundation and human rights activist Aidar SYZDYKOV “on protection of honour and dignity”. List of employees of the pre-trial detention facility whose “honour and dignity” was allegedly hurt:

Authorities are increasing political pressure on Aidar SYZDYKOV, violating his rights and demonstrating that they do not respect their international human rights obligations.
